In fact, there’s no person on the face of the earth who is so great a
sinner that Jesus Christ cannot save. You may be thinking of some
individual and feel there is not any way God could ever save them.
Listen, God died for all on the cross. God cares about all and He
died for all.
Anyone who is willing to make the choice and decide against the
things of the devil and chooses God -- that door is always open to
them. Anytime a person opens their heart and their life and invites
Jesus to come in -- the Bible says Jesus will come in.
Everyone who needs to be saved can be saved.
3. Everyone who professes to be saved, is not saved.
You can turn on your radio or television today and hear a dozen
different ways on how to be saved. But there is only one way
according to the Bible. There’s only one way for man to truly come
to know Jesus Christ. That doesn’t mean they become a Baptist
or a Methodist or a Presbyterian or a Lutheran or a Catholic or a
member of the Church of Christ. It means they have established a
personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. They have repented
of their sin; they have personally invited Jesus to come into their
heart (life) to save them from their sin. Everyone who professes to
be saved is not saved.
Matthew 7:21 - “Not everyone that sayeth unto
me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of
heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father,
which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that
day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied or
preached in they name? and in thy name have cast
out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful
works? And then I will profess unto them, I never
knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”
What a terrible day that’s going to be- -- what a disappointing day.
